Max is around thirty and he lives a happy, carefree life. When Emma, his friend and roommate decides to separate from him, a lot of doubts and concerns grow inside him and push Max to go out and leave the apartment at night. The Night She Moves is the portrait of a couple, their breakup and a strange and transforming walk through the Barcelona night.

This journey, filmed with an agile camera, allows Gutiérrez Galve to build a portrait of a generation: that of young adults seeking answers so that they can build a new way of life that has little to do with that of their parents, because relationships are based more on spontaneous emotions than on contracts, and the male tyranny of the past has disappeared, all against a backdrop of deep crisis that accentuates Max’s distress.
