Babytrapped at CinemaAttic

Babytrapped is a brand-new film that looks at how a young couple cope when the woman unexpectedly falls pregnant after unprotected sex.

Meet Liam and Nita, a couple who had been going out for a few weeks when they found out a baby was on its way.

The film is an intimate portrait of two parents-to-be and the fears and difficulties they face in the light of this life-changing event. Exploring two sides of the same coin through tough decisions and gender differences, this film is sure to spark strong feelings about abortion, family and responsibility.

Thanks to a new collaboration with the filmmaker Tomas Sheridan, and taking into account not just the value of the film but, specifically, the significance of the subject matters discussed on it, we thought that an screening at CinemaAttic will be of interest.

There will be a bar available (beer and selection of wines for just 2 pounds per drink) and Liam and Nita, the protagonists of the film will be present afterwards to answer any questions you may have together with yours truly Tomás Sheridan aka The Director of Babytrapped.

The screening will be followed by Liam playing us some of the songs he’s been writing and recording (www.liambaker.co.uk) and with a general celebration for the filmmaker first ever broadcast (hopefully the first of many).

Whether you were working on the film, you are Edinburgh pals, folk we haven’t been in touch with for ages, friends either Liam or Nita or simply supportive friends who want to share this momentous moment in my life just come along, bring a friend and lets have a party!
