As every year since 2008, CinemaAttic uncovers the expressive quality of Spanish creators through a wide celebration of Spanish cinema and arts.
We return this November with a new range of unique, exciting and thought-provoking list of events including:

-An homage to one of the brightest Spanish independent filmmakers: Luis Garcia Berlanga. December, Filmhouse Edinburgh.

-Paper portraits exhibition, by Omar Arráez, and with Omar Arráez himself. A real talent, the unknown artist. 2nd December 2011- 25th January 2012, Axolotl Gallery Edinburgh, 35 Dundas Street.

-Spanish Short Film Festival: the very best of the Spanish short film scene 2009 and 2010. Confirmed participation of Goya winners and BAFTA winners. 4th November at Inspace Edinburgh and other venues.

-Berlanga: the problematic auteur. Introduction to the films and book presentation by specialists from Universities of Stirling and Saint Andrews. December, Filmhouse Edinburgh.

-Spanishness and food. A very special night of flamenco, Spanish dance&music short-films and food at one of the key venues in town, Edinburgh.
