CinemaAttic came to live as a cultural agent in 2008 and has steadily became a highly productive platform, responsible for the organization of various -and original- cinema festivals in the U.K.

Our principles, built up upon a range of professionals from disciplines as diverse and complementary as photography and media, graphic design and music, art criticism, illustration and cinema production, establish an standard of service that proves the passion and coherency of our projects.

Our main purpose is to bridge the expressive quality of young filmmakers from national cinemas such as Spanish, Italian or Greek for instance with the consistent reliability of British organizations. Furthermore, we offer the rich range of audiovisual artists born under the light of U.K.'s institutions the possibility to embrace projects outside their main area of influence.

We have collaborated with pioneer schools and organisms both from Spain and the United Kingdom –Edinburgh College of Art and ECAM, Screen Academy of Scotland and University of Edinburgh, FREAK agency and Basque Filmhouse, Macrobert Arts Centre and Madrid en Corto,…-and have also worked out projects with entities such as Filmhouse Edinburgh, National Galleries of Scotland, Segovia 2016, University of Stirling or the Spanish Consulate in Edinburgh to name just a few.
